This Year’s Theme
Collective Responsibility
Building a Culture of Wellness Together
This year’s theme is rooted in a simple but powerful idea: caring for one another is everyone’s responsibility.
Mental health does not exist in isolation. The ways we support or overlook one another are shaped by our families, friendships, faith communities, workplaces, and neighborhoods. Together, we’ll explore how families, friends, faith leaders, community organizations, and other trusted community voices can help create environments where people feel seen, supported, and safe enough to ask for help.
We’ll have an honest conversation about breaking the stigma and shame surrounding mental health, recognizing when someone may be struggling, strengthening our support networks, and connecting people with the resources and care they need.
Most importantly, this forum is an opportunity to move beyond simply talking about mental health toward building a culture of wellness and collective care, one where reaching out is encouraged, vulnerability is met with compassion, and no one feels they have to navigate difficult seasons alone.
Join us on October 10 as we come together to listen, learn, connect, and imagine what collective wellness can look like across our diaspora.
